FDC Assault Advisories | March 5 – March 11, 2019

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty.

Florida State Prison: On March 5, inmate Patrick Deboard (L25900) assaulted an officer at approximately 8:39 a.m. Inmate Deboard kicked the officer in the chest. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Inmate Deboard will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Dade Correctional Institution: On March 5, inmate Tavaris Cunningham (D61348) assaulted an officer at approximately 12:50 p.m. Inmate Cunningham punched the officer on the head. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Inmate Cunningham will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Madison Correctional Institution: On March 6, inmate Emmanuel Ware (M50930) assaulted an officer at approximately 5:57 p.m. Inmate Ware punched the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Beverly will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Wakulla Annex: On March 6, inmate Kenny Dorvil (Y16137) assaulted an officer at approximately 10:35 p.m. Inmate Dorvil punched the officer on the head. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Dorvil will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On March 6, inmate Terrance McCrea (082657) assaulted an officer at approximately 10:35 p.m. Inmate McCrea struck the officer in the face with a broomstick. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate McCrea will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Madison Correctional Institution: On March 7, inmate Ronald Thornton (P38388) assaulted an officer at approximately 3:19 a.m. Inmate Thornton kicked the officer on the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Thornton will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Hamilton Annex: On March 9, inmate Blake Collier (Q12991) assaulted an officer at approximately 6:00 p.m. Inmate Collier punched the officer in the chest. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Inmate Collier will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Tomoka Correctional Institution: On March 9, inmate Jason Burnett (537471) assaulted an officer at approximately 3:20 p.m. Inmate Burnett punched the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Burnett will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Lake Correctional Institution: On March 11, inmate Ricky Worsham (T18099) assaulted an officer at approximately 7:53 a.m. Inmate Worsham kicked and scratched the officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Worsham will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On March 11, inmate Lewis Moton (706021) assaulted an officer at approximately 12:57 p.m. Inmate Moton bit the officer in the head. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Moton will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
