FDC Assault Advisories | April 9 – April 15, 2019

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty.

Okeechobee Work Camp: On April 9, inmate Leopold Stanley (V24466) assaulted an officer at approximately 8:40 a.m. Inmate Stanley punched the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Stanley will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Florida Women’s Reception Center: On April 10, inmate Jakeilah Weeks (156808) assaulted an officer at approximately 5:30 p.m. Inmate Weeks struck the officer in the abdomen with a food tray. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Inmate Weeks will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Cross City Correctional Institution: On April 12, inmate Jashone Hooks (M92665) assaulted an officer at approximately 12:00 p.m. Inmate Hooks struck the officer in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Inmate Hooks will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Desoto Annex: On April 15, inmate Dominic Baldwin (H28629) assaulted an officer at approximately 4:59 a.m. Inmate Baldwin grabbed the officer by the arm and pushed them against a wall. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Inmate Baldwin will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.

Central Florida Reception Center: On April 15, inmate Jonathan St Hubert (X80705) assaulted an officer at approximately 8:45 p.m. Inmate St Hubert struck the officer in the torso. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Inmate St Hubert will receive a disciplinary report for this assault.
