FDC Assault Advisories | May 29 - June 4, 2020
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On May 29, Inmate Zackery Bowman (P58780) assaulted an officer by striking them on the forehead. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Santa Rosa Annex: On May 29, Inmate Juan Valerio (D57556) assaulted an officer by pulling their wrist into the enhanced security lockbox. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On May 30, Inmate Woody Duclos (132932) assaulted an officer by headbutting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Santa Rosa Annex: On May 30, Inmate Quantez Ealy (C03113) assaulted an officer by kicking them on the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Putnam Correctional Institution: On May 30, Inmate Nicholas Coffey (I51208) assaulted an officer by striking them on the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Central Florida Reception Center: On June 2, Inmate Allen Jackson (X23622) assaulted an officer by headbutting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Santa Rosa Annex: On June 3, Inmate Quantez Ealy (C03113) assaulted an officer by bending their limbs. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Wakulla Annex: On June 3, Inmate Ronald McPhee (K60905) assaulted an officer by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Cross City Correctional Institution: On June 4, Inmate Elijah Berrios (I53655) assaulted an officer by kicking and striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
