FDC Assault Advisories | December 14 – December 20, 2022

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Central Florida Reception Center: On December 14, Inmate Freddie Washington (K74052) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On December 14, Inmate Juan Quendo (U71197) assaulted officers by striking them in multiple area. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On December 14, Inmate Briderris Clark (F71232) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On December 15, Inmate Christopher Seymore (L88744) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Dade Correctional Institution: On December 16, Inmate Micheal Torres (468964) assaulted an officerby battering them in multiple area. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On December 17, Inmate Shaquon Johnson (C07844) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On December 17, Inmate Nelson Feliciano (C05863) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On December 17, Inmate Kelvin Bradley (B12210) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On December 17, Inmate Zachary Gonnelli (E31128) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Calhoun Correctional Institution: On December 17, Inmate Derek Jupiter (W53316) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

South Florida Reception Center: On December 18, Inmate Eric Mitchell (B12779) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Avon Park Correctional Institution: On December 18, Inmate Roger Defrancisco (M87633) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On December 20, Inmate Christopher Fitzgerald (Y61703) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida Women’s Reception Center: On December 20, Inmate Shontaisa Hurst (C71511) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Avon Correctional Institution: On December 20, Inmate Avery Wolfork (W55851) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lake Correctional Institution: On December 20, Inmate James Schierer (458050) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On December 20, Inmate James Lee (C11069) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On December 20, Inmate Johnquan Johnson (J49414) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On December 20, Inmate Fredrick Byron (R80972) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On December 20, Inmate Larry Johnson (T05034) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
