FDC Assault Advisories | December 21 – December 27, 2022

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Columbia Correctional Institution: On December 21, Inmate Marlon Stafford (121297) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On December 21, Inmate Denzel Washington (W71673) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On December 21, Inmate Timothy Young (P46442) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On December 21, Inmate Yoneiry Delarosa (G90153) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On December 21, Inmate Kevin Mcclendon (K60031) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

South Florida Reception Center: On December 21, Inmate Cristian Bustamante (M98876) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Calhoun Correctional Institution: On December 21, Inmate Andres Gomezavellandeda (S50344) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On December 22, Inmate Michael Sanders (E16705) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Dade Correctional Institution: On December 22, Inmate Edgardo Rivera (G41495) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On December 22, Inmate Johnquan Johnson (J49414) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On December 23, Inmate Tyris Hawkins (G21150) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On December 24, Inmate Ronnie Jhurilal (B10228) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Walton Correctional Institution: On December 25, Inmate Artez Baker (R13064) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On December 25, Inmate Willie Pennick (N03979) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On December 26, Inmate Britton Blackwood (I53781) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Reception & Medical Center: On December 26, Inmate Willie Simpson (074572) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.Staff was transported to outside medical care.

Dade Correctional Institution: On December 26, Inmate Zyed Sanchez (M88154) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Columbia Correctional Institution: On December 26, Inmate Xavier Payne (J53225) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Franklin Correctional Institution: On December 26, Inmate Terrell Brown (M19899) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Martin Correctional Institution: On December 27, Inmate Evans Larkins (M90547) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
