FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | May 24 – May 30, 2022

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Florida State Prison: On May 24, Inmate Gregory Brown (J39575) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Annex: On May 24, Inmate Woodrow Under (066724) assaulted an officer by shoving them in the upper torso. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Wakulla Correctional Institution: On May 24, Inmate Fernandito Carpio (X81705) assaulted an employee by punching them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the employee and noted injuries.

Santa Rosa Annex: On May 24, Inmate Terdarus Washington (M56831) assaulted officers by biting them in the inner thigh and kicking them in the knee. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On May 25, Inmate Paul Echols (T15914) assaulted officers by grabbing their fads through a cell door. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.

Walton Correctional Institution: On May 25, Inmate Gregory Jackson (121042) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face multiple times, scratching them in the face and wrapping his arms around them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Graceville Correctional Facility: On May 25, Inmate Quantah Richardson (V17305) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On May 25, Inmate Zachary Mulloy (G71237) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face.

Columbia Annex: On May 26, Inmate Juan Perez-Sovias (M13102) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On May 26, Inmate Dre Miller (K91510) assaulted an officer by grabbing their wrist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Lake Correctional Institution: On May 26, Inmate Sedric Baker (129838) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On May 26, Inmate Levert Stewart (J17573) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Correctional Institution: On May 26, Inmate Eddie Moultrie (J54553) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On May 27, Inmate Christopher Sanders (R24565) assaulted an officer by striking them in the legs. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On May 27, Inmate Billy Manzanares (X81110) assaulted officers by being disorderly and refusing to submit to hand restraints. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.

Union Correctional Institution: On May 27, Inmate Joshua Neipert (S32932) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On May 27, Inmate Rubin Jiro (L98787) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately and the inmate was subdued

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On May 28, Inmate Kenneth McFarlin (Y02924) assaulted an officer by smashing their hand in a drawer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Reception & Medical Center: On May 28, Inmate Artan Williamson (D91437) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Dade Correctional Institution: On May 28, Inmate Roy Jones (F21306) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Annex: On May 28, Inmate Jerald Gipson (B00406) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On May 29, Inmate Marvin Pace (B02617) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Union Correctional Institution: On May 29, Inmate Quinton Sylvestre (L38983) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On May 29, Inmate Joshua Neipert (S32932) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Walton Correctional Institution: On May 30, Inmate Luis Socarras-Acosta (M93414) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
