FDC Assault Advisories | September 14 – September 20, 2022
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Northwest Florida Reception Center: On September 14, Inmate Justin Atyeo (V50097) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Central Florida Reception Center: On September 15, Inmate Elford Brown (P71648) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On September 16, Inmate Johnny Jones (V15226) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Annex: On September 16, Inmate Travis Peacock (A50810) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Reception and Medical Center: On September 18, Inmate Darin Lemon (V29155) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On September 18, Inmate Devion Chapel (C08677) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Franklin Correctional Institution: On September 18, Inmate Connie Pattmon (T36625) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution:On September 18, Inmate Robert Smith (M82958) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Century Correctional Institution: On September 18, Inmate Wendell Clarke (B90442) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Annex: On September 19, Inmate Gilbert Demello (117722) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Reception and Medical Center: On September 19, Inmate Thaddeus Anderson (J42152) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Walton Correctional Institution: On September 19, Inmate Richard Singletary (551032) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Central Florida Reception Center: On September 20, Inmate Benjamin Partington (G91535) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Annex: On September 20, Inmate Christian Gomez (K40016) assaulted a staff. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On September 20, Inmate Michael Johnson (T49278) assaulted a staff. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Union Correctional Institution: On September 20, Inmate Mark Defriest (073061) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Cross City Correctional Institution: On September 20, Inmate Sidney Johnson (I09098) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Mayo Annex: On September 20, Inmate Francis Benitez–Martinez (406289) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On September 20, Inmate Jarvis Jones (U56411) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida Women Reception Center: On September 20, Inmate Latasha Lucas (F90941) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
