Florida Correctional Officer Arrested
JASPER, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Correctional Officer Rodrick Manning. Manning is charged with unlawful compensation as a public servant, conspiracy to introduce contraband, unlawful use of a two-way communication device and compounding a felony.
Following the arrest Manning was transported to the Hamilton County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by State Attorney Jeff Siegmeister of the 3rd Judicial Circuit of Florida and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

119.071[e], F.S., exempting all information “revealing the substance of a confession” by a person arrested until there is a final disposition in the case.
