Florida Correctional Officer Trainee Arrested

MALONE, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Correctional Officer Trainee Memorie Glass. Glass is charged with introduction of contraband and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

Following the arrest Glass was transported to the Jackson County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by State Attorney Glenn Hess of the 14th Judicial Circuit of Florida and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

119.071[2][e], F.S., exempting all information “revealing the substance of a confession” by a person arrested until there is a final disposition in the case.
