Former Florida Correctional Officer Trainee Arrested

MALONE, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of former Correctional Officer Trainee Linda Toscano. Toscano is charged with introduction of contraband.

Following the arrest, Toscano was transported to the Jackson County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by State Attorney Glenn Hess of the 14th Judicial Circuit of Florida and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

Information related to the security of the technology, processes, or practices of a utility owned or operated by a unit of local government that are designed to protect the utility’s networks, computers, programs, and data from attack, damage, or unauthorized access, which information, if disclosed, would facilitate the alteration, disclosure, or destruction of such data or information technology resources.
