FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | December 14 – December 20, 2021

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Hamilton Annex: On December 14, Inmate Joshua Franklin (Q22579) assaulted officers by pushing, punching and elbowing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.

Blackwater Correctional Facility: On December 14, Inmate Daryl Roulhac (094880) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Florida Women’s Reception Center: On December 14, Inmate Denisa Alimanovic (I70465) assaulted an officer by headbutting them in the mouth. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On December 14, Inmate Alfred Hall (M86618) assaulted an officer by attempting to grab a chemical agent canister during a use of force. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On December 15, Inmate Deshawn Hurst (P58748) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Calhoun Correctional Institution: On December 15, Inmate Harold Wallwin (S02515) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face with a lock in a sock. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Florida State Prison: On December 15, Inmate Antonio Adams (U08976) assaulted an officer by headbutting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Moore Haven Correctional Facility: On December 15, Inmate Robert Watkins (514751) assaulted an officer by punching them in the face three times. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Walton Correctional Institution: On December 15, Inmate Phillip Hanks (424507) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On December 15, Inmate Alonzo Smothers (701389) assaulted an officer by striking them with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Florida State Prison: On December 16, Inmate Zachary Gonnelli (E31128) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On December 16, Inmate Michael Moss (G26930) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jefferson Correctional Institution: On December 16, Inmate Tavares Hicks (996755) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Blackwater Correctional Facility: On December 17, Inmate Maurice Vidana (T59682) assaulted an officer by grabbing them while they were attempting to apply restraints. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Walton Correctional Institution: On December 17, Inmate Demeko Sims (P47573) assaulted an officer by knocking them to the ground and punching them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On December 17, Inmate Jean Oczeus (W47794) assaulted an officer by striking them on the forehead with a food tray. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Bridges of Orlando: On December 17, Inmate Tavares Cotton (C60961) assaulted an officer by shouldering them, pushing them into the wall and elbowing them in the abdomen. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On December 17, Inmate Nathaniel Greendowner (131079) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Martin Correctional Institution: On December 17, Inmate Coy Donaldson (H49729) assaulted officers by pushing them to the ground and striking their face and abdomen. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.

Florida State Prison: On December 18, Inmate Michael Haynes (C10262) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On December 19, Inmate Francis Smallwood (C11386) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lake Correctional Institution: On December 19, Inmate Donald Donaho (X30138) assaulted an officer by striking them on the torso. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lake Correctional Institution: On December 19, Inmate Brooks Kinder (G80337) assaulted officers by grabbing and scratching them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.

Blackwater Correctional Facility: On December 19, Inmate Lanarriun Wilson (N32271) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On December 20, Inmate Corinthian Williams (G24835) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Graceville Correctional Facility: On December 20, Inmate Cahari Anderson (J49741) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On December 20, Inmate Lenell Barnes (X82201) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
