FDC Assault Advisories | October 26 – November 1, 2022
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On October 26, Inmate Marcus Lewis (W43543) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Northwest Florida Reception Center: On October 26, Inmate Albert Thompson (P39579) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On October 26, Inmate Robert Parker (D31486) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On October 26, Inmate John Iverson (973632) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On October 26, Inmate Marcus Lewis (W43543) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Century Correctional Institution: On October 26, Inmate Shawn Malsky (512433) assaulted an officer by pushing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Mayo Correctional Institution Annex : On October 26, Inmate Tobries Fields (G16349) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Columbia Annex : On October 27, Inmate Tarrel Stillman (B10385) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lake Correctional Institution: On October 27, Inmate Fernandito Carpio (X81705) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On October 26, Inmate Robert Parker (D31486) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Northwest Florida Reception Center: On October 27, Inmate Mark Vazquez (M04624) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On October 27, Inmate Joshua Dryer (E55058) assaulted an officer by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On October 28, Inmate Andrew Bryant (623642) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On October 28, Inmate Charles Barlow (L25667) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Century Correctional Institution: On October 28, Inmate Ricardo Ojeda (P54583) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida State Prison: On October 28, Inmate Michael Aiken (X08220) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Wakulla Annex: On October 28, Inmate Joshua Lucas (L71428) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Holmes Correctional Institution: On October 29, Inmate Terry Walker (C01910) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Century Correctional Institution: On October 29, Inmate Marquis Nelson (J46806) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On October 29, Inmate Shauntwan Barnes (N21938) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Polk Correctional Institution: On October 31, Inmate Frankie Jackson (T00694) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On October 31, Inmate Harry Cooper (N03658) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida State Prison: On October 28, Inmate Denziel Rice (B80356) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Northwest Florida Reception Center: On October 31, Inmate Eric Andrews (T87206) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Northwest Florida Reception Center: On November 1, Inmate David Bellesle (Y23551) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Gulf Correctional Institution: On November 1, Inmate David Atkinson (124472) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
