FDC ASSAULT ADVISORIES | December 14 – December 20

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, December 20, inmate Shiquan Mcnair (G22066) assaulted a correctional officer by punching the officer in the face. The incident was captured on camera.

 Columbia Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, December 20, inmate Kelly Hough (703145) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s arm. The incident was captured on camera.

 Suwannee Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, December 20, inmate Rishard Brown (X64139) assaulted a correctional officer by head-butting the officer in the face. The incident was captured on camera.

 Columbia Annex: On Wednesday, December 20, inmate Michael Sosa (T32330) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

 Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, December 20, inmate Dwyane Grant (C04048) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s hand. The incident was captured on camera.

 Dade Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, December 19, inmate Don Lane (T27908) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

 Wakulla Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, December 19, inmate Michael Shemanksy (X88481) assaulted a correctional officer by wrapping an object around the officer’s finger. The incident was captured on camera.

 Jackson Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, December 19, inmate Darnell Washington (J58686) assaulted a correctional officer by biting the officer. The incident was captured on camera.

 Gulf Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 18, inmate Antonio Nieves (M85851) assaulted a correctional officer by shoving the officer. The incident was captured on camera.

 Charlotte Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 18, inmate Ja Vonte Ford (G80575) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the face. The incident was captured on camera.

 Wakulla Annex: On Monday, December 18, inmate Christopher Gonzalez (Y61160) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer. The incident was captured on camera.

 Mayo Annex: On Monday, December 18, inmate Tyrone Moon (R87104) assaulted a correctional officer by falling on the officer’s neck. The incident was captured on camera.

 Hardee Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 18, inmate Nicholas Lauderdale (J57347) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

 Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 18, inmate Miguel Ledee (C00399) assaulted a correctional officer by hitting the officer in the face and biting the officer’s finger. The incident was captured on camera.

 Century Correctional Institution: On Sunday, December 17, inmate Benjamin Allen (B12242) assaulted two correctional officers by slapping one officer in the face and spitting on the other officer.

 Apalachee Correctional Institution: On Saturday, December 16, inmate Emanuel Ocasio-Gonzalez (C11964) assaulted a correctional officer by throwing food at the officer, striking the officer’s legs. The incident was captured on camera.

 Franklin Correctional Institution: On Saturday, December 16, inmate Randy Riesel (P40168) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

 Reception Medical Center: On Saturday, December 16, inmate Dion Hill (Y09852) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the hand.

 Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On Saturday, December 16, inmate Kwand Ball (D13396) assaulted a correctional officer by throwing food at the officer’s face, striking the officer.

 Holmes Correctional Institution: On Friday, December 15, inmate Luis Charriez-Marrarow (A21999) assaulted a correctional officer by swinging a lock that grazed the officer’s arm.

 Holmes Correctional Institution: On Thursday, December 14, inmate William Briggs (899167) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer.

 Lancaster Work Camp: On Thursday, December 14, inmate Jacary Carter (F10461) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer with their shoulder. The incident was captured on camera.

 Homestead Correctional Institution: On Thursday, December 14, inmate Jessica Bartolini (I81885) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer’s hand.

 Suwannee Correctional Institution: On Thursday, December 14, inmate Jarrod Slick (Q31490) assaulted a correctional officer by kicking the officer. The incident was captured on camera.
