FDC Assault Advisories | February 15 – 21, 2023
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Reception & Medical Center: On February 15, Inmate Kerby Jean-Philippe (I50736) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On February 15, Inmate Darick Ford (M70655) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hamilton Annex: On February 15, Inmate Isaac Morris (169368) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida Women Reception Center: On February 15, Inmate Sabrena Hunter (D29984) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On February 15, Inmate Dauviel Jackson (A90909) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Dade Correctional Institution: On February 15, Inmate Christopher Motes (L95382) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Apalachee Correctional Institution: On February 17, Inmate Ronald Deller (C08641) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Central Florida Reception Center: On February 17, Inmate Dustin Davis (V90200) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Liberty Correctional Institution: On February 17, Inmate Latwain McLaren (U26804) assaulted an officer by grabbing their throat and choking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.
Florida State Prison: On February 19, Inmate LeDarius Smith (J58075) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Central Florida Reception Center: On February 20, Inmate Anthony Mcquagge (X08300) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Annex: On February 20, Inmate Nelson Deleon (787897) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Dade Correctional Institution: On February 20, Inmate Christian Mateo (T88063) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On February 20, Inmate Lewis Keels (M67105) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On February 20, Inmate Johntray Speight (T96876) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Century Correctional Institution: On February 20, Inmate Scott Tubb (P11896) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
