FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | March 1 - 7, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Polk Correctional Institution: On March 1, Inmate Trevor Jackson (T86699) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On March 1, Inmate Travis Scott (M55814) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On March 1, Inmate Rashod Brown (J59583) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Martin Correctional Institution: On March 1, Inmate Katari Jackson (A51323) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Franklin Correctional Institution: On March 1, Inmate William Marrero (C11245) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Baker Re-Entry Center: On March 1, Inmate Eurich Lewis (124241) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Mayo Annex: On March 2, Inmate Eddie Rutledge (W36300) assaulted an officer by kneeing them in the abdomen. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical for evaluation and treatment. The officer was sent to receive outside medical treatment.

Florida State Prison: On March 2, Inmate Antonio Thomas (X76176) assaulted officers by grabbing and biting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries officers sustained.

Liberty Correctional Institution: On March 3, Inmate Larkland Harris (V01043) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On March 3, Inmate Reshawn Roberts (135884) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Martin Correctional Institution: On March 3, Inmate Martin Carr (M19690) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lowell Work Camp: On March 3, Inmate Nicole Perry (I16256) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hamilton Annex: On March 3, Inmate Amari Hair (E54624) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On March 3, Inmate Ronald Cordero (D49860) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On March 3, Inmate Vincent Wilson (N27307) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Avon Park Correctional Institution: On March 4, Inmate Shawn Jackson (R39149) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On March 4, Inmate Keith Perkins (R84640) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Annex: On March 4, Inmate Sesar Rodriguez (T83273) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Zephyrhills Correctional Institution: On March 4, Jeremiah Karen (A81203) assaulted officers by striking them in multiple area. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries officers sustained.

Mayo Annex: On March 4, Wilson Viglione (165163) assaulted an officer by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries officers sustained.

Lowell Annex: On March 5, Inmate Melonise Alexander (155536) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Correctional Institution: On March 6, Inmate Danny Kincaid (125533) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Liberty Correctional Institution: On March 6, Inmate Bryan Grigg (J43434) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On March 7, Inmate Capelle Stephen (S08796) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On March 7, Willie Bell (097448) assaulted an officer by headbutting them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries the officer sustained.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On March 7, Inmate Shaquon Johnson (C07844) assaulted officers by cutting and biting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical for evaluation and treatment.
