FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | March 8 - 14, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Union Correctional Institution: On March 9, Inmate Robert Mendoza (C90152) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On March 9, Inmate Rolando Delsol (401832) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On March 9, Inmate Maxime Laguerre (H16310) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On March 9, Inmate Jean Torres (X62858) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Quincy Annex: On March 9, Inmate Joel Thomas (B08013) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On March 9, Inmate Victor Nash (B16292) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On March 10, Inmate Alex Hernandez (S42568) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On March 10, Inmate Juan Collazo (W81090) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On March 10, Inmate Eddie Rutledge (W36300) assaulted officers by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff evaluated and noted injuries officers sustained.

Columbia Annex: On March 10, Inmate Al Taylor (113581) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On March 10, Inmate Jelson Mathis (C00931) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On March 10, Inmate Anthony Mcquagge (X08300) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Martin Correctional Institution: On March 11, Inmate Martin Carr (M19690) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On March 11, Inmate Kanair Thompson (G70733) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Correctional Institution: On March 12, Inmate Michael Grimace (415545) assaulted an officer by tackled them to the ground. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical for evaluation and treatment. The officer was sent to receive outside medical treatment.

Reception and Medical Center: On March 12, Inmate Seanpaul Jackson (A81829) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On March 12, Inmate Jerel Robinson (W29407) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Cross City Correctional Institution: On March 12, Inmate Aldarius Doctor (J10457) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On March 12, Inmate Broc Sangster (Y50003) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On March 13, Inmate Michael Moss (G26930) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lake Correctional Institution: On March 13, Inmate Vandarius Rountree (X63740) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Cross City Correctional Institution: On March 13, Inmate Dajuan Smith (X03149) assaulted an officer by striking them in multiple area. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the inmate and noted injuries. Medical staff authorized outside medical treatment for inmate. The officer was sent to receive outside medical treatment.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On March 13, Inmate Raymond Miles (A31416) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On March 13, Inmate Louis Gaskin (751166) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On March 13, Inmate Justin Weston (I04094) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
