FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | April 26 - May 2, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Columbia Annex: On April 25, Inmate Iseah Pena (J91009) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On April 26, Inmate Ryne Mcknight (G60220) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Annex: On April 26, Inmate Kevin Mcclendon (K60031) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On April 27, Inmate Isaac Lopez Maiave (P90933) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Century Correctional Institution: On April 27, Inmate Jason Silvestre (X69478) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On April 27, Inmate Vaughan Johnson (N60270) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On April 27, Inmate John Singleton (C07594) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Century Correctional Institution: On April 27, Inmate Michael Johns (H03421) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Franklin Correctional Institution: On April 27, Inmate Ezequiel Ortega-Gomez (X96919) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Martin Correctional Institution: On April 28, Inmate Jeremiah Adams (133738) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Century Correctional Institution: On April 28, Inmate Demetrius Hopkins (K73218) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Polk Correctional Institution: On April 28, Inmate Philip Toy (H47383) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Work Camp: On April 29, Inmate Christopher Sloat (S18026) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Franklin Correctional Institution: On April 29, Inmate Robert Myers (085139) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On April 29, Inmate Brandon Thompson (X64969) and Darquavias Brown (S60453) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Annex: On April 29, Inmate Jacey Gutbrod (158259) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On April 30, Inmate Carlos Foster (J56953) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On April 30, Inmate Willie Brown (B03692) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On April 30, Inmate James Roberts (132873) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officer was sent to receive outside medical treatment.

Martin Correctional Institution: On May 1, Inmate Jeremiah Adams (133738) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On May 1, Inmate Niko Pearlman (157434) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On May 1, Inmate Terell Carpenter (E34110) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On May 1, Inmate Damion Jones (A71496) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Liberty Correctional Institution: On May 1, Inmate Ambrose Dixon (M58835) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Annex: On May 1, Inmate Serigo Castro (V363577) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On May 1, Inmate DiQuan Walker (C11633) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lowell Annex: On May 1, Inmate Destiny Boice (N41613) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On May 1, Inmate Reshawn Roberts (135884) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Reception & Medical Center: On May 1, Inmate Shawn Orientus (N40363) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On May 1, Inmate Jamal Vass (B14084) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Avon Park Workcamp: On May 2, Inmate Jarvis Taylor (K86994) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Walton Correctional Institution: On May 2, Inmate Nathan Paul (Q40617) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On May 2, Inmate Santos Baro (T37184) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On May 2, Inmate John Croissy (M46994) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On May 2, Inmate Reginald Snow (024729) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lowell Annex: On May 2, Inmate Gila Hankins (V90603) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
