FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | June 7 - June 13, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Santa Rosa Annex: On June 7, Inmate Ernest Gordon (U30850) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

South Florida Reception Center: On June 7, Inmate Stacy Cash (N41000) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On June 8, Inmate Thomas Ragonese (K77235) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On June 8, Inmate Reashod Rosier (Y12843) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

South Florida Reception Center: On June 8, Inmate Enrique Fernandez (439806) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hamilton Correctional Institution: On June 8, Inmate Chris Depas (V90504) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Sago Palm Re-Entry: On June 8, Inmate Lawyer Thornton (L00359) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On June 8, Inmate Cordaro Hardin (R48598) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Annex: On June 9, Inmate Jahzan Garcia- Vasquez (N90613) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On June10, Inmate Major Brown (J39370) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Walton Correctional Institution: On June 10, Inmate Tyric Lowery (P49345) assaulted officers by striking them in multiple area. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officers were sent to receive outside medical treatment.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On June 10, Inmate Thomas Valentine (T62025) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On June 11, Inmate Darren Stacey (I04948) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

South Florida Reception Center: On June 11, Inmate James Hunter (059085) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lancaster Correctional Institution: On June 11, Inmate Vincent Viteri (R75110) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Holmes Correctional Institution: On June 12, Inmate Jermaine Robeson (M38630) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Walton Correctional Institution: On June 12, Inmate Kevin Bowers (135075) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Century Correctional Institution: On June 12, Inmate Lashawn Jones (M80577) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On June 12, Inmate Jospeh McNeil (C09032) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lake Correctional Institution: On June 13, Inmate Martin Carr (M19690) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Workcamp: On June 13, Inmate Reginald Robinson (M78831) assaulted an officer by snatching from their hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation.

Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On June 13, Inmate Jude Brewster (M93872) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Reception and Medical Center: On June 13, Inmate Edgar Marquez (X65263) assaulted officers by striking them in multiple area. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation.
