FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | July 5 - July 11, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On July 5, Inmate Lamar Davis (J59410) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On July 5, Inmate Darryl Kirksey (J29471) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On July 5, Inmate Parnell McKay (M64471) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Taylor Correctional Institution: On July 5, Inmate Randy Hudson (157915) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lake Correctional Institution: On July 5, Inmate Nickolas Shoffner (I91575) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On July 5, Inmate Tino Norfleet (R45003) assaulted  an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officer was sent to receive outside medical treatment.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On July 5, Inmate Chadrick Hill (G23650) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Liberty Correctional Institution: On July 6, Inmates Jimari Holmes (N32792) and Dana Boney (N28359) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Zephyrhills Correctional Institution: On July 7, Inmate Ernest Garrett (106988) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. The officer sustained an injury during this incident.

Walton Correctional Institution: On July 7, Inmate Chase Huff (U15896) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Martin Correctional Institution: On July 7, Inmate Noah Voll (C50873) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lowell Correctional Institution: On July 7, Inmate LeMeyah Lloyd (S91627) assaulted an officer by spitting in their face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officer was sent to receive outside medical treatment.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On July 7, Inmate Steven Stanko (R20009) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Correctional Institution: On July 8, Inmate Willie Woods (B03719) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Calhoun Correctional Institution: On July 8, Inmate Anthony Grillo (E49166) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lake Correctional Institution: On July 8, Inmate Nelson Borrero (I91770) assaulted an officer by spitting in their face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officer was sent to receive outside medical treatment.

Cross City Correctional Institution: On July 8, Inmate Calvin Barnes (X65136) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On July 8, Inmate Wayne Smalls (C71425) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Walton Correctional Institution: On July 8, Inmate Ashur Whiting (N12561) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On July 8, Inmate Anthony Cruzado (T39906) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On July 8, Inmate Willie Montgomery (009167) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. The officer sustained an injury during this incident.

Northwest Florida Reception Center Annex: On July 8, Inmate Kiko Rogers (B06280) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Annex: On July 8, Inmate Christopher Hammonds (H08474) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On July 8, Inmate Edward Walden (L90618) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On July 9, Inmate Winston Broughton (E91832) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Desoto Annex: On July 9, Inmate Adrian Jones (C11848) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On July 9, Inmate Christopher Cooper (Q80183) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Reception & Medical Center: On July 10, Inmate Julio Malave (X05206) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Mayo Correctional Institution Annex: On July 10, Inmate Elijah Barbary (J20601) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Walton Correctional Institution: On July 10, Inmate Ryan Evans (J26656) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Avon Park Correctional Institution: On July 10, Inmate Davonta Mitchell (V43093) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Holmes Correctional Institution: On July 11, Inmate Jeremiah Dillard (G20470) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Walton Workcamp: On July 11, Inmate Rossi McDonald (530867) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. The officer sustained an injury during this incident.

Zephyrhills Correctional Institution: On July 11, Inmate Victor Zayas (X80168) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
