FDC Assault Advisories | July 19 - July 25, 2023
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Martin Correctional Institution: On July 19, Inmate Robert Iglesis (H43946) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Columbia Correctional Institution: On July 19, Inmate Joseph Orr (M71995) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Wakulla Annex: On July 19, Inmate Mason Anderson (W35282) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Calhoun Correctional Institution: On July 19, Inmate Stevie Wilson (W43885) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Walton Correctional Institution: On July 19, Inmate Chase Huff (U15896) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On July 19, Inmate Darius Lewis (A00285) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Annex: On July 19, Inmate Theodis Richardson (366041) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Marion Correctional Institution: On July 19, Inmate John Murray (N60292) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officer was sent to receive outside medical treatment.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On July 20, Inmate Di Quan Walker (C11633) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On July 20, Inmate Jamal Lee (P44153) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On July 20, Inmate Keenan Joyner (M49249) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Apalachee Correctional Institution: On July 20, Inmate Lamarcus Wilson (K31961) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On July 20, Inmate Tijhari Jones (134923) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Central Florida Reception Center: On July 20, Inmate Desha Turner (X21555) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On July 21, Inmate Justin Howard (D29959) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hamilton Annex: On July 21, Inmate Mason Anderson (W35282) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lowell Correctional Institution Annex: On July 22, Inmate Gila Hankins (V90603) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On July 23, Inmate Charles Drummond (K76545) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lowell Workcamp: On July 23, Inmate Chasity Pressley (Q50724) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On July 23, Inmate Christopher Williams (K84073) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Northwest Florida Reception Center: On July 23, Inmate Rones Sagesse (Y58036) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Columbia Correctional Institution: On July 23, Inmate Denny Vasallo (W04978) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On July 24, Inmate Dauviel Jackson (A90909) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Zephyrhills Correctional Institution: On July 24, Inmate Aaron Brand (S38195) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On July 24, Inmate Christopher Williams (K84073) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lowell Annex: On July 25, Inmate Grace Smith (P80420) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On July 25, Inmate Jivaris Gaymon (N21993) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officer was sent to receive outside medical treatment.
Northwest Florida Reception Center: On July 25, Inmate Juan Collazo (W81090) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On July 25, Inmate Stephen Trusty (Q01981) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Mayo Correctional Institution Annex: On July 25, Inmate Christopher Jamison (T74742) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
