FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | July 26 - August 1, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On July 26, Inmate Christopher Desnoyer (N24027) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On July 26, Inmate Eugene Bryant (R36784) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Annex: On July 26, Inmate Marci Perry (U47713) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On July 26, Inmate Cleveland Watson (B12113) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Annex: On July 26, Inmate Charles Johnson (B07521) assaulted officers by grabbing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Annex: On July 26, Inmate Marcus Harrison (435190) assaulted officers by grabbing one officer’s belt, closing another officer’s arm in a door and closing another officer’s hand in a door. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On July 27, Inmate Jivaris Gaymon (N21993) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Cross City Correctional Institution: On July 27, Inmate Reo Weston (R25397) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On July 27, Inmate Emmanuel Santos (X97644) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On July 27, Inmate Akeem Harris (M53716) assaulted an officer by throwing his food tray and striking them with food on their lower extremities. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Century Correctional Institution: On July 28, Inmate Jason Silvestre (X69478) assaulted an officer by grabbing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Century Correctional Institution: On July 28, Inmate Patrick Shaw (X74028) assaulted an officer by grabbing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Martin Correctional Institution: On July 29, Inmate Obtravies Watkins (V17765) assaulted a staff member by grabbing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Union Correctional Institution: On July 29, Inmate Shaquille Lynch (V37277) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On July 29, Inmate Marquis Heard (X74711) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On July 30, Inmate Charles Miller (122580) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On July 30, Inmate Derrick Ross (158767) assaulted officers by striking them with his fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Martin Correctional Institution: On July 30, Inmate Orlando Consuegra (A11440) assaulted an officer by throwing his food tray and striking them in the torso. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On July 31, Inmate Brent Smith-Pickford (P64481) assaulted an officer by grabbing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On July 31, Inmate Ryan Medina (E28810) assaulted an officer by shoving them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On July 31, Inmate Marcus Miller (T82336) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Mayo Annex: On August 1, Inmate Andre Freeman (C08987) assaulted an officer by grappling their legs. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On August 1, Inmate Remoi Campbell (Y62445) assaulted an officer by kicking their leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lancaster Correctional Institution: On August 1, Inmate Troy Mayze (G18272) assaulted officers by grabbing one officer by the shirt and striking another officer in the face knocking off their glasses. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Walton Correctional Institution: On August 1, Inmate Antwan Daniels (P45433) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
