FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | August 9 - August 15, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Calhoun Correctional Institution: On August 9, Inmate David Jenkins (G03372) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On August 9, Inmate Jermaine Jackson (K81670) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On August 9, Inmate Larry Baumgardner (X31858) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On August 9, Inmate William Perry (J57720) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Annex: On August 10, Inmate Travis Brown (128340) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On August 10, Inmate Phillip Lynn (A51438) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Mayo Annex: On August 10, Inmate Antonio Anderson (W48958)  assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On August 10, Inmate Robert Tate (W32869) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On August 10, Inmate Allen Glover (G31568)  assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Desoto Annex: On August 10, Inmate Ian Harris (E70696)  assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Calhoun Correctional Institution: On August 10, Inmate Bernardino Dejesus (X76985) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On August 11, Inmate Eugene Bryant (R36784) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On August 11, Inmate Lamar Davis (J59410) assaulted an officer by striking their arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On August 11, Inmate Eugene Bryant (R36784) assaulted an officer by spitting in their face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation.

Florida Women Reception Center: On August 11, Inmate Destiny Boice (N41613) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On August 11, Inmate Kevin Blake (X83762) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Reception Medical Center: On August 11, Inmate Michael Moss (G26930) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On August 11, Inmate Alfred Johnson (J24753) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On August 11, Inmate Cornillius Denson (T98110) assaulted  officers by striking them in multiple areas. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation.

Columbia Annex: On August 12, Inmate Tyler Ruland (148907) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On August 12, Inmate Eric Mitchell (B12779) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Desoto Annex: On August 12, Inmate Keith Myles (B15822) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Polk Correctional Institution: On August 12, Inmate Kalonji Lester (R54441) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Polk Correctional Institution: On August 13, Inmate Pavel Ruiz (M60218) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Annex: On August 14, Inmate Matthew Castro (W80426) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lowell Annex: On August 14, Inmate Allyn Vento (E61780) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On August 14, Inmate Deandre Braddy (N13642) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Reality House: On August 14, Inmate Dwayne Long (U39117) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On August 14, Inmate Shaquille Lynch (V37277) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On August 14, Inmate Thomas Bonifay (P53413) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On August 14, Inmate Jason Sims (889210) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On August 15, Inmate Richard Holt (C05062) assaulted  officers by striking them in multiple areas. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation.

Martin Correctional Institution: On August 15, Inmate Monterris Stewart (Q60088) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On August 15, Inmate Shaquille Lynch (V37277) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On August 15, Inmate Willie Hullett (K61144) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On August 15, Inmate Jivaris Gaymon (N21993) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Cross City Correctional Institution: On August 15, Inmate David Irvin (C11599) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
