FDC Assault Advisories | September 06 - September 12, 2023
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Reception and Medical Center: On September 6, Inmate Rishard Brown (X64139) assaulted an officer by head-butting them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.
Gulf Correctional Institution: On September 6, Inmate Alejandro Perez (W80092) assaulted an officer by striking them in the side with a mop handle. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Century Correctional Institution: On September 6, Inmate Cecil Brown (S42309) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Reception and Medical Center: On September 6, Inmate Rishard Brown (X64139) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Dade Correctional Institution: On September 6, Inmate Trey Cornwell (R74291) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On September 6, Inmate Yoneiry Delarosa (G90153) assaulted an officer by head-butting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On September 7, Inmate Kelly Watts (246867) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On September 7, Inmate Anthony Dobbins (R84249) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On September 12, Inmate Christopher Bowden (J31184) assaulted an officer by grabbing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.
Jefferson Correctional Institution: On September 12, Inmate Albert Polo (168824) assaulted a staff member by touching them between the legs. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
