FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | September 13 - September 19, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Columbia Correctional Institution: On September 13, Inmate Abdiel Delgado (F81715) assaulted an officer by wrapping his arms around their upper torso. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On September 14, Inmate Keenan James (G25227) assaulted an officer by striking them in the back with his shoulder. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On September 14, Inmate Johnny Harris (K63002) assaulted a K-9 by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On September 14, Inmate Ismail Tisdale (193206) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On September 14, Inmate Kamari Clay (J60978) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida Women Reception Center: On September 14, Inmate Christina Maxwell (A70008) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Mayo Annex: On September 15, Inmate Elijah Barbary (J20601) assaulted officers by grabbing them by the wrists. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Annex: On September 15, Inmate Jose Reyes (R71185) assaulted an officer by grabbing their wrist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On September 15, Inmate Dominique Catholic (H34513) assaulted an officer by striking them in the wrist with a food tray. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lancaster Correctional Institution: On September 15, Inmate Ryan Burgos (134762) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On September 16, Inmate Don Lane (T27908) assaulted an officer by biting them on the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lake Correctional Institution: On September 16, Inmate Kyle Mckeever (R72338) assaulted an officer by scratching them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Florida State Prison: On September 17, Inmate Roosevelt Hall (T40628) assaulted an officer by grabbing their waist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

South Florida Reception Center: On September 17, Inmate Willie Jones (034143) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On September 17, Inmate Joshua MatthewsDavis (R78669) assaulted an officer by elbowing them in the upper torso. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Liberty Correctional Institution: On September 17, Inmate Stacey Bartley (722933) assaulted officers by kicking one officer in the chest and rolling on the hand of another officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries on both officers.

Reception and Medical Center: On September 18, Inmate Jhony Milo (M23784) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On September 18, Inmate Yohance Johnson (I21715) assaulted an officer by closing the window on her hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On September 18, Inmate Ja Vonta Ford (G80575) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Hamilton Annex: On September 19, Inmate Larry Christopher (B10371) assaulted an officer by striking them in the eye. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Lake Correctional Institution: On September 19, Inmate Ray Long (T54649) assaulted officers by scratching their forearms. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries on both officers.

Santa Rosa Annex: On September 19, Inmate Anthony Cruzado (T39906) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
