FDC Assault Advisories | September 20 - September 26, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Sago Palm Reentry: On September 20, Inmate Gregory Barnett (W30568) assaulted an officer by striking them on the leg with a shirt. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Work Camp: On September 20, Inmate Timothy Hinsinger (L64778) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Reception and Medical Center: On September 20, Inmate William Heath (H48683) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On September 20, Inmate Aushea Williams (V37193) assaulted an officer by striking them on the hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On September 20, Inmate Lawrence Lewis (B05210) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Polk Correctional Institution: On September 20, Inmate Joshua Brewton (F71550) assaulted an officer by slapping their hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On September 20, Inmate Jarvis Gaskin (K79912) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Martin Correctional Institution: On September 21, Inmate Gustavo Martinez (B91890) assaulted a staff member by grabbing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Desoto Annex: On September 21, Inmate Jessie Joseph (B09085) assaulted an officer by scratching their arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Tomoka Correctional Institution: On September 21, Inmate Marcos Acevedo (E19195) assaulted a staff member by grabbing their hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Walton Correctional Institution: On September 21, Inmate Terrell Agee (H35360) assaulted an officer by striking them on the shoulder with his shoulder. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Liberty Correctional Institution: On September 21, Inmate Terell Tillman (C30160) assaulted an officer by grabbing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On September 21, Inmate George Thayer (X94009) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lowell Annex: On September 21, Inmate Domonique Henry (T89401) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Lowell Annex: On September 21, Inmate Jahmecca Jarvis (E49987) assaulted an officer by biting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Polk Correctional Institution: On September 22, Inmate Markeith Acker (J56541) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On September 22, Inmate Isaiah Rogers (N22751) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On September 22, Inmate Robert Haber (551553) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Suwannee Correctional Institution Annex: On September 22, Inmate Alberto Torres (C10899) assaulted an officer by grabbing their arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On September 22, Inmate Nathaniel Petgrave (J70496) assaulted an officer by grabbing their hand and bending their fingers backward. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On September 22, Inmate Kristopher Moore (I90139) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On September 22, Inmate Nolan Johnson (G71875) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Northwest Florida Reception Center Annex: On September 24, Inmate Anterious Thornton (E41067) assaulted an officer by grabbing them and striking them multiple times. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Lowell Annex: On September 24, Inmate Megan Mayo (G61509) assaulted officers by kicking one officer in the face and punching the other in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted both officers' injuries.

Cross City Correctional Institution: On September 24, Inmate Jarcarus Bridley (X54286) assaulted an officer by tackling them to the ground. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On September 24, Inmate Lashawn Jones (M80577) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Reception and Medical Center: On September 24, Inmate Devonshea Riley (U60585) assaulted officers by kicking one officer in the shins and striking another in the hip with his knee. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Madison Workcamp: On September 25, Inmate Kenneth Chambers (N09054) assaulted an officer by striking them on the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Homestead Correctional Institution: On September 25, Inmate Jessica Bartolini (I81885) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Suwannee Annex: On September 26, Inmate Anthony Johnson (J56958) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Martin Correctional Institution: On September 25, Inmate Orlando Consuegra (A11440) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On September 25, Inmate Angel Rodriguez-Aviles (C12260) assaulted an officer by punching them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Union Correctional Institution: On September 26, Inmate Nicholas Fox (R47011) assaulted an officer by striking them in the eye with a lock. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On September 26, Inmate Timothy Hanner (N25546) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
