FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | September 27 – October 3, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Holmes Correctional Institution: On September 27, Inmate Dedrick Jones (G22157) assaulted officers by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Santa Rosa Annex: On September 27, Inmate Rahmel Miller (V13466) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Cross City Workcamp: On September 27, Inmate Irique Joseph (167222) assaulted an officer by pushing them into a bunk. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Century Correctional Institution: On September 27, Inmate Freddrick Eddie (189884) assaulted an officer by striking them with a broom on the ear and arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On September 27, Inmate Tyreek Shelton (C10517) assaulted an officer by kicking them in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Correctional Institution: On September 27, Inmate David Honor (157866) assaulted an officer by striking them on the arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On September 27, Inmate Tarmael Charles (G91172) assaulted an officer by running into them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On September 27, Inmate Toney Tolbert (129347) assaulted an officer by pushing their hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Everglades Re-Entry: On September 28, Inmate Robert Anglin (M55934) assaulted an officer by striking them in the chest with a door. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On September 29, Inmate Cassidy Kist (N51010) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On September 29, Inmate Devarous Ross (I03274) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida Women’s Reception Center: On September 29, Inmate Khaliyah Limehouse (T30985) assaulted an officer by biting them on the arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On September 30, Inmate Roberto Labadi (M73822) assaulted an officer by kicking them in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On September 30, Inmate Charles Robinson (B04740) assaulted an officer by biting their leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Holmes Correctional Institution: On September 30, Inmate Tolga Miran (V45889) assaulted an officer by striking them in the head with a food tray. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Zephyrhills Correctional Institution: On September 30, Inmate Daryl Walker (C08717) assaulted an officer by charging them and striking them in the stomach. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Tomoka Correctional Institution: On September 30, Inmate Eric Harden (469932) assaulted an officer by grabbing them and pushing them away. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On September 30, Inmate Tyrell Stringfield (J44827) assaulted an officer by punching them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Annex: On October 1, Inmate Barrington Wilson (192563) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida Women Reception Center: On October 1, Inmate Khaliyah Limehouse (T30985) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On October 2, Inmate Damarco Grimes (A61447) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On October 2, Inmate Ja Vonta Ford (G80575) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Walton Correctional Institution: On October 3, Inmate Arnold Fields (T55996) assaulted an officer by grabbing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Reception and Medical Center: On October 3, Inmate Jackie Revels (I09674) assaulted an officer by pushing them to the ground. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
