FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | October 4, 2023 – October 10, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Columbia Annex: On October 4, Inmate Keith Adker (M67212) assaulted an officer by shoving them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Reception and Medical Center: On October 4, Inmate Anton Cesar (I43740) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Avon Park Correctional Institution: On October 4, Inmate Quindarrel Browdy (127599) assaulted officers and a staff member by kicking and headbutting them in the legs. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Wakulla Annex: On October 4, Inmate Ronnie Williams (256871) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On October 5, Inmate Alexander Dennison (L21331) assaulted an officer by striking them on the hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On October 6, Inmate Albert Mulberry (133300) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On October 6, Inmate Clemon Lewis (T9510) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Holmes Correctional Institution: On October 6, Inmate Kel Payne (M77715) assaulted an officer by grabbing their hand and twisting it. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Union Correctional Institution: On October 6, Inmate Devon Davis (V49019) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On October 6, Inmate Jordan King (B30389) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On October 6, Inmate Chauncey Johnson (157647) assaulted an officer by grabbing their arm and pulling it through a cell door. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On October 6, Inmate Keith Perkins (R84640) assaulted officers by striking them multiple times with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On October 7, Inmate Lavell Strong (G26630) assaulted an officer by grabbing their leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On October 7, Inmate Deondre Edwards (S38582) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On October 7, Inmate Stuart Pomeranz (187155) assaulted an officer by striking them in the torso. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On October 7, Inmate Richard Holt (C05062) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Wakulla Correctional Institution: On October 8, Inmate Eric Montgomery (L31379) assaulted an officer by throwing them to the ground and striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Sumter Correctional Institution: On October 8, Inmate George Sanders (C00520) assaulted an officer by elbowing them in the head. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On October 8, Inmate Jadarius Wardlow (Y57636) assaulted an officer by pushing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Tomoka Correctional Institution: On October 8, Inmate Peter Stanley (V14594) assaulted an officer by pulling them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On October 8, Inmate Gerald Wilson (M50710) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face with his hand. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On October 9, Inmate Kevin Jones (C01060) assaulted an officer by puncturing their hand with an improvised weapon. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff noted injuries.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On October 9, Inmate Nelson Williamson (J42766) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Franklin Correctional Institution: On October 10, Inmate Raul Rosado (N91865) assaulted an officer by punching them in the stomach. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On October 10, Inmate Albert Mulberry (133300) assaulted an officer by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Tomoka Correctional Institution: On October 10, Inmate Lavoix Auguste (N90607) assaulted an officer by pushing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
