FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC ASSAULT ADVISORIES | November 23 - November 29, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Zephyrhills Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, November 29, inmate Benjamin Gore (V27383) assaulted two correctional officers by scratching and head-butting the officers. The incident was captured on camera.

Martin Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, November 29, inmate David Gruber (E39767) assaulted a correctional officer by kicking the officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Dade Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, November 29, inmate Barry Glover (688527) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the face. The incident was captured on camera.

Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, November 28, inmate Branden Smallwood (011096) assaulted a correctional officer by wrapping their legs around the correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On Tuesday, November 28, inmate Louie Cromartie (D10024) assaulted a correctional officer by slamming a door on the officer's chin. The incident was captured on camera.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On Tuesday, November 28, inmate David Millard (U42064) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On Monday, November 27, inmate John Martin San (M53713) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On Monday, November 27, inmate Stevenson Cineas (B20066) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On Monday, November 27, inmate Raul Decasanova (L01814) assaulted a correctional officer by biting the officer's hand. The incident was captured on camera.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On Monday, November 27, inmate Christopher Blake (D28925) assaulted two correctional officers by kicking the officers in the lower extremities. The incident was captured on camera.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On Monday, November 27, inmate Jeffery Austin (072641) assaulted a food service staff by grabbing the staff member's wrist. The incident was captured on camera.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On Sunday, November 26, inmate Christopher Tierney (R56554) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer's hand. The incident was captured on camera.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Sunday, November 26, inmate Eric Brown (T76315) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On Sunday, November 26, inmate Tyrell Stringfield (J44827) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer and forcing the officer to the floor. The incident was captured on camera.

Florida State Prison: On Sunday, November 26, inmate Marcus Miller (T82336) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer's left arm. The incident was captured on camera.

South Florida Reception Center: On Saturday, November 25, inmate Natanahel Penaamue (B90665) assaulted a correctional officer by bumping their shoulder into the officer.

Dade Correctional Institution: On Saturday, November 25, inmate Marcus Mcfadden (W31293) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer's buttocks. The incident was captured on camera.

Reception Medical Center: On Saturday, November 25, inmate Twon Craig (V81160) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer and throwing the officer to the ground.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On Saturday, November 25, inmate Tyrell Stringfield (J44827) assaulted a correctional officer by cutting the officer in the arm three times. The incident was captured on camera.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On Saturday, November 25, inmate Vladimir Corrielus (M93326) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the chest.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Saturday, November 25, inmate Jason Sorey (C12156) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the back. The incident was captured on camera.

Wakulla Correctional Institution: On Friday, November 24, inmate Mario Dupont (N05192) assaulted a correctional officer by kicking the officer in the leg. The incident was captured on camera.
