FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC ASSAULT ADVISORIES | November 30 - December 6, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Lowell Annex: On Wednesday, December 6, inmate Grace Smith (P80420) assaulted a contracted employee by kicking the employee in the face. The incident was captured on camera.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, December 6, inmate Louis Payton (134148) assaulted two correctional officers by grabbing one officer around the neck and biting the other officer's arm. The incident was captured on camera.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, December 6, inmate Aaron Wallace (J47690) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Wakulla Annex: On Wednesday, December 6, inmate Marion South (463943) assaulted a correctional officer by pulling the officer's hand into a door. The incident was captured on camera.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, December 6, inmate Jonathan Rodriguez (C51190) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Hamilton Annex: On Tuesday, December 5, inmate Barry Mitchell (148746) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the hand with a hidden weapon.

Lake Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, December 5, inmate Danny Johnson (E03543) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Cross City Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, December 5, inmate Kiereek Seymour (Y59157) assaulted a correctional officer by kicking the officer in the groin area. The incident was captured on camera.

Polk Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, December 5, inmate Jose Crews (C06118) assaulted a correctional officer by throwing an object at the officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, December 5, inmate Franklyn Osorio (M85892) assaulted a correctional officer while the officer was counseling the inmate. The incident was captured on camera.

Century Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 4, inmate Peter Dellapenna (S80344) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On Monday, December 4, inmate Edward Hamilton (P54442) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer's hand and kissing it. The incident was captured on camera.

Century Correctional Institution: On Sunday, December 3, inmate Len Cotney (T86756) assaulted a correctional officer by pulling the officer's arm. The incident was captured on camera.

Holmes Work Camp: On Sunday, December 3, inmate Dontae Ard (N20516) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer's shoulder. The incident was captured on camera.

Lake Correctional Institution: On Sunday, December 3, inmate Christian Quispe (M75572) assaulted a correctional officer using a homemade weapon. The incident was captured on camera.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Saturday, December 2, inmate Mark Davis (Q09246) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Lowell Annex: On Saturday, December 2, inmate Tiana Tilghman (K88300) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Dade Correctional Institution: On Friday, December 1, inmate Don Lane (T27908) assaulted a correctional officer and a nurse. The incident was captured on camera.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On Friday, December 1, inmate Dallas Wooten (B10730) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the head.

Martin Correctional Institution: On Friday, December 1, inmate Oyedamola Akanbi (N30811) assaulted a correctional officer by throwing a table at the officer.

Central Florida Reception Center: On Friday, December 1, inmate Rickee Muse (J70709) assaulted a food service staff member by striking the staff's buttocks.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On Friday, December 1, inmate Todd Asher (E42247) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Martin Correctional Institution: On Friday, December 1, inmate Glover Calloway (Q07042) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer's hand. The incident was captured on camera.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Thursday, November 30, inmate Luis Garcia (M82396) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On Thursday, November 30, inmate Travon Griffin (I51330) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the face.

Lake Correctional Institution: On Thursday, November 30, inmate Dale Quatto (V07128) assaulted a correctional officer by biting the officer's forearm. The incident was captured on camera.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On Thursday, November 30, inmate Deantawane Mitchell (P41397) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer's buttocks.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On Thursday, November 30, inmate Johnathan Storms (W53339) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer's buttocks.
