FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC ASSAULT ADVISORIES | December 7 - December 13, 2023

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, December 13, inmate Sebastien Chevalier (I48902) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the face.

Liberty Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, December 13, inmate Travis Cornwell (U40798) assaulted a correctional officer by head-butting the officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Union Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, December 13, inmate Danny Lowe (079365) assaulted a correctional officer by pushing the officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On Wednesday, December 13, inmate Joe Brown (648740) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s arm. The incident was captured on camera.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, December 12, inmate Frederick Ward (107213) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the face.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, December 12, inmate Jan Nieves (R88566) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s legs in an attempt to pull the officer into a cell. The incident was captured on camera.

Desoto Annex: On Tuesday, December 12, inmate Jerett Alexander (J46659) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the face. The incident was captured on camera.

Union Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, December 12, inmate Shawn Timothee (X79451) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, December 12, inmate Ivann Powell (F60227) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s jacket. The incident was captured on camera.

Lowell Annex: On Tuesday, December 12, inmate Alyna Donelson (C31605) assaulted two correctional officers by pushing one officer and kicking and punching the other officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 11, inmate Anthony Dobbins (R84249) assaulted a correctional officer by pulling the officer’s arm into a cell. The incident was captured on camera.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 11, inmate Adolph Clark (134783) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s shirt. The incident was captured on camera.

Holmes Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 11, inmate Tyler Tenbrink (G50325) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the head and torso. The incident was captured on camera.

Tomoka Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 11, inmate Everal Williams (B10013) assaulted a correctional officer by tackling the officer.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 11, inmate Willie Hardee (312335) assaulted a correctional officer by elbowing the officer in the face.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 11, inmate Leonard Patterson (980614) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the head. The incident was captured on camera.

Avon Park Work Camp: On Monday, December 11, inmate William Fortese (E41001) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 11, inmate Emanuel Ocasio-Gonzalez (C11964) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On Monday, December 11, inmate Larry Stanley (J38442) assaulted a correctional officer by causing the officer to lose their balance when the inmate grabbed a jacket out of the officer’s hand. The incident was captured on camera.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On Sunday, December 10, inmate Everett Mcknight (G18347) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the face. The incident was captured on camera.

Lake Correctional Institution: On Sunday, December 10, inmate Alex Barefield (V71294) assaulted a correctional officer.

Liberty Correctional Institution: On Saturday, December 9, inmate Malcolm Hilliard (A21582) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the face.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On Saturday, December 9, inmate Kithanie Fulwiley (H05995) assaulted a correctional officer by stabbing the officer in the arm with an improvised weapon. The incident was captured on camera.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On Saturday, December 9, inmate Carlton Doe (197190) assaulted a correctional officer by pushing the officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On Friday, December 8, inmate Clemon Lewis (T95101) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the chest. The incident was captured on camera.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On Friday, December 8, inmate Deanthony Timmons (H35214) assaulted a correctional officer by head-butting the officer in the face. The incident was captured on camera.
