Florida Visitor Arrested

ARCADIA, FLA. - The Florida Department of Corrections' (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of visitor Kiara M. Key. Key is charged with introduction of contraband into a state correctional institution, possession of controlled substance (cocaine) and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana more than 20 grams).

The following exemptions apply to the redactions:

  • The home addresses, telephone numbers, including cellular and personal pager numbers, social security numbers, dates of birth, and photographs of active or former department employees and/or their spouses and children; places of employment; daycare facilities, and/or schools of active or former department employees’ spouses and children (sections 119.071 (4)(d), F.S. and 945.10(1)(e), F.S.

  • Social security numbers (Section 199.071(5)(a), F.S.

  • Information “revealing the substance of a confession” by a person arrested until there is a final disposition in the case (Section 119.071[2][e], F.S.
