FDC ASSAULT ADVISORIES | January 18 – January 24, 2024

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Suwannee Annex: On Wednesday, January 24, inmate Herman Thomas (191034) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the face. The incident was captured on camera.

South Florida Reception Center: On Wednesday, January 24, inmate Wanzay Denson (W80761) assaulted a correctional officer.

Holmes Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, January 23, inmate Antonio Rivera-Soto (Q41350) assaulted multiple correctional officers. The incident was captured on camera.

Walton Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, January 23, inmate Juan Madrigal (P50723) assaulted a contracted staff member by grabbing the employee’s arms. The incident was captured on camera.

Calhoun Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, January 23, inmate Glen Mejia-Juarez (B08948) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s arm. The incident was captured on camera.

Walton Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, January 23, inmate Timothy Walden (J36237) assaulted a correctional officer by tackling the officer to the ground.

Reception and Medical Center: On Tuesday, January 23, inmate Ahmed Youssef (X78112) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s arm. The incident was captured on camera.

Columbia Correctional Institution: On Monday, January 22, inmate Michael Stewart (T68454) assaulted a correctional officer by punching the officer’s hand. The incident was captured on camera.

Wakulla Annex: On Monday, January 22, inmate John Vicente (083142) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the eye.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On Monday, January 22, inmate James Carroll (B70126) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer with a food tray. The incident was captured on camera.

Santa Rosa Annex: On Monday, January 22, inmate Casey Clark (N72095) assaulted a correctional officer by punching and kicking the officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On Sunday, January 21, inmate Melvin Hestle (P25648) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Sunday, January 21, inmate Alexander Marghidan (W44413) and inmate Tyler Mcclain (126757) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Sunday, January 21, inmate Robert Jackson (103004) assaulted a contracted staff member by throwing food at the employee. The incident was captured on camera.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On Sunday, January 21, inmate Keith Myles (B15822) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s hand. The incident was captured on camera.

Wakulla Annex: On Sunday, January 21, inmate Stefan Hoft (R52971) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Avon Park Correctional Institution: On Saturday, January 20, inmate Lejuan Townes (W49121) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the jaw.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On Saturday, January 20, inmate Zachary Beyer-Radford (S28561) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On Saturday, January 20, inmate Eric Robinson (H91467) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s fingers.

Wakulla Annex: On Friday, January 19, inmate Emanuel Tuggerson (S60786) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s hand. The incident was captured on camera.

Suwannee Annex: On Friday, January 19, inmate Kamai Clerveaux (F60767) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the groin. The incident was captured on camera.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On Friday, January 19, inmate Andrew Fulford (G22686) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s hand. The incident was captured on camera.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On Friday, January 19, inmate Dillon Martinez (Y72186) assaulted multiple correctional officers by striking them in the head and face.

Florida Women’s Reception Center: On Thursday, January 18, inmate Tania Rosado (E03956) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the head and chest. The incident was captured on camera.

Northwest Florida Reception Center Annex: On Thursday, January 18, inmate Antionne Minott (P59539) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On Thursday, January 18, inmate Randall Siemering (J26378) assaulted a correctional officer by pushing the officer into a door. The incident was captured on camera.

Santa Rosa Annex: On Thursday, January 18, inmate Carlton Peak (E45827) assaulted a correctional officer by kicking the officer. The incident was captured on camera.
