FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC ASSAULT ADVISORIES | February 29 – March 6, 2024

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Santa Rosa Annex: On Wednesday, March 6, Inmate Demetrius Mccutchen (099903) assaulted two correctional officers by scratching an officer in the forearm and scratching the other officer in the cheek. The incident was captured on camera.

Florida Women’s Reception Center: On Wednesday, March 6, Inmate Meagan Jones (X70824) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer in the wrist. The incident was captured on camera.

Dade Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, March 6, Inmate Michael Heckerman (S14235) assaulted a correctional officer by pulling the officer’s hands. The incident was captured on camera.

Suwannee Annex: On Wednesday, March 6, Inmate Michael Williams (181052) assaulted a correctional officer by punching the officer in the face. The incident was captured on camera.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, March 5, Inmate Charles Dennis Jr. (G50388) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer in the forearm. The incident was captured on camera.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, March 5, Inmate Angel Montero (L22159) assaulted a contracted staff member.

Century Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, March 5, Inmate Steven Russell (Q09117) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Santa Rosa Annex: On Tuesday, March 5, Inmate Johnathon Carroll (H71158) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Sumter Correctional Institution: On Monday, March 4, Inmate Dale Austin (801457) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer in the wrist. The incident was captured on camera.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On Monday, March 4, Inmate Jaycee Rodriguez-Rollanson (M93958) assaulted a staff member by grabbing the employee by the torso. The incident was captured on camera.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On Monday, March 4, Inmate Jeffrey Gale (Y81646) assaulted a staff member by pushing a chair into the staff member’s leg.

Reception and Medical Center: On Monday, March 4, Inmate Timothy Salter (410775) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s hands.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On Sunday, March 3, Inmate Marquis Blanton (C03967) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Santa Rosa Annex: On Sunday, March 3, Inmate Johnathon Carroll (H71158) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On Sunday, March 3, Inmate Bobby Jones (N40517) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Reception and Medical Center: On Saturday, March 2, Inmate Jordan Morin (B09305) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s hands.

Martin Work Camp: On Saturday, March 2, Inmate Arthur Broadnax (U43159) assaulted a correctional officer.

Wakulla Annex: On Friday, March 1, Inmate Johnathan Lott (H44383) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Hamilton Annex: On Friday, March 1, Inmate Raymond Dawson (U31334) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the shoulder.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On Thursday, February 29, Inmate Bobby Jones (N40517) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On Thursday, February 29, Inmate Matthew McFalls (Y39996) assaulted a correctional officer by headbutting the officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Florida State Prison: On Thursday, February 29, Inmate Milad Boroojeni (E81902) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the back.
