FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC ASSAULT ADVISORIES | March 7 – March 13, 2024

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Calhoun Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, March 13, Inmate Dylan Mcfarlane (M93015) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer in the hand. The incident was captured on camera.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, March 13, Inmate Dylan Meacham (C71139) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Century Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, March 13, Inmate Andre Edouard (T45793) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the eye.

Dade Correctional Institution: On Wednesday, March 13, Inmate Alexander Green (M75111) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Wakulla Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, March 12, Inmate Brandon Johnson (N29358) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer by the hand. The incident was captured on camera.

Santa Rosa Annex: On Tuesday, March 12, Inmate Roosevelt Edwards Jr. (S25618) assaulted a correctional officer by wrapping their legs around the officer, causing the officer to fall.

Walton Correctional Institution: On Tuesday, March 12, Inmate Malcom Reaves (N28638) assaulted a contracted staff member by grabbing the employee by the wrist.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On Tuesday, March 12, Inmate Marcos Camilo (M99924) assaulted a correctional officer by punching the officer in the face. The incident was captured on camera.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On Monday, March 11, Inmate Aaron Gregory (J44498) assaulted a correctional officer by punching the officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Lowell Annex: On Monday, March 11, Inmate Jacklyn Alaimo (N81942) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer’s arms. The incident was captured on camera.

Wakulla Annex: On Monday, March 11, Inmate Carl Telusma (Y56467) assaulted a correctional officer by kicking the officer in the leg. The incident was captured on camera.

Lowell Annex: On Monday, March 11, Inmate Tippy Mccullough (S34755) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Sumter Correctional Institution: On Sunday, March 10, Inmate Nathaniel Beckman (V31438) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On Sunday, March 10, Inmate Demetrius Smith (262315) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Walton Correctional Institution: On Saturday, March 9, Inmate Rashe Proby (W00439) assaulted multiple correctional officers by kicking the officers in the stomach and leg. The incident was captured on camera.

Hamilton Annex: On Friday, March 8, Inmate Timothy Moten (C91871) assaulted two correctional officers by grabbing the officers’ wrists. The incident was captured on camera.

Sumter Correctional Institution: On Friday, March 8, Inmate Nathaniel Beckman (V31438) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Wakulla Annex: On Friday, March 8, Inmate Fernando Hernandez (B10901) assaulted a contracted staff member.

Zephyrhills Correctional Institution: On Friday, March 8, Inmate Thomas Gilbert (030532) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer in the arm. The incident was captured on camera.

Florida State Prison: On Friday, March 8, Inmate Emanuel Edwards (E37896) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the hand. The incident was captured on camera.

Florida State Prison: On Friday, March 8, Inmate Danny Brandon (U04946) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Hamilton Annex: On Friday, March 8, Inmate Marquel Davis (148798) assaulted a correctional officer by grabbing the officer in the neck. The incident was captured on camera.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On Friday, March 8, Inmate Jimmy Daniel (011607) assaulted a correctional officer by pushing the officer into a door. The incident was captured on camera.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On Thursday, March 7, Inmate Antonio Welch (629555) assaulted a correctional officer.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On Thursday, March 7, Inmate Kerby Philippe-Jean (I50736) assaulted a correctional officer by striking the officer in the chest. The incident was captured on camera.

Holmes Correctional Institution: On Thursday, March 7, Inmate James Yurkin (R49151) assaulted a correctional officer. The incident was captured on camera.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On Thursday, March 7, Inmate Denis Altamirano (M75702) assaulted two correctional officers. The incident was captured on camera.
