VISITOR CONTRABAND INTERDICTION | April 10 - April 17 2024

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- The Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) has zero tolerance for contraband of any kind, and visitors attempting to introduce contraband are subject to suspension or termination of their visitation privileges and arrest.

Lawtey Correctional Institution: On Sunday, April 14, Visitor Jodea Waite was visiting Inmate Evron Barner (B52043) when K9 alerted on the visitor's vehicle. Staff discovered marijuana residue, and the visitation was terminated.

Colombia Correctional Institution: On Saturday, April 13, Visitor Allysia Ramiya was visiting Inmate Agustin Camacho (Y25235) when K9 alerted on the visitor's vehicle. Staff discovered 3.5 grams of medical marijuana, and the visitation was terminated.

Central Florida Reception Center: On Sunday, April 14, Visitor Beycha Decos was visiting Inmate Yachua Maysonet (E49283) when the visitor attempted to pay with a counterfeit $20 bill. The visitation was terminated.

Florida State Prison: On Sunday, April 14, Visitor Sydney Patterson was visiting Inmate Dionsha Farmer (W91487) when K9 alerted on the visitor's vehicle. Staff discovered marijuana residue, and the visitation was terminated.

Columbia Annex: On Saturday, April 13, Visitor Courtney Williams, was visiting Inmate Khalil Reed (I61097) when K9 alerted on their vehicle. Staff discovered marijuana residue, and the visitation was terminated.

Calhoun CI: On Sunday, April 14, Visitor Catherine Neeld, was visiting Inmate Benjamin Dick (U35193) when staff observed Visitor Neeld attempting to pass a concealed item to the inmate. Staff recovered the item, which contained an unknown substance. Local law enforcement was contacted, and the visitor was arrested for the charge of introduction of contraband.

Calhoun CI: On Saturday, April 13, Visitor Altawn Oliver was visiting Inmate Zevion Oliver (W91193) when K9 alerted on the visitor's vehicle. Staff discovered marijuana residue, and the visitation was terminated.

Lawtey CI: On Sunday, April 14, Visitor Chaqunda Brown-Planter was visiting Inmate Anthony Jones (628748) when K9 alerted on the visitor's vehicle. Staff discovered marijuana residue, and the visitation was terminated.

Walton Work Camp: On Saturday, April 13, Visitor Monica Infinger was visiting Inmate William Gilly (P51976) when K9 alerted on the visitor's vehicle. A search was refused, and the visitation was terminated.

Tomoka CI: On Sunday, April 14, Visitor Christina Robertson, was visiting Inmate Brandon Paris (N91395) when staff observed the visitor exchanging watches with the inmate. The watch was placed into evidence, and the visitation was terminated.

Okaloosa CI: On Saturday, April 13, Visitor Veronica Luis-Jean was visiting Inmate Volvique Jean (B16037), at which time staff were notified that Olaw enforcement would need to make an arrest. The visitor was arrested by FHP for identity theft, and the visit was terminated.
